I received a copy of Lowcountry Boil through a drawing put on Facebook by the author. This was my first ‘cozy mystery’, wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m hooked!
How an author can turn a murder mystery into a light, easy read and still keep me turning the pages I’m not sure – but author Susan M. Boyer succeeded. I’m already a fan of everything lowcountry and love a story with a friendly ghost, so this was a big win for me. I’m excited that this is just the 1st of a series, I will be reading the others soon!
Whether you are already a fan of the cozy mystery genre or looking for something fresh to read, I really enjoyed this and definitely recommend.
